RTA – The Roads and Transport Authority

RTA – The Roads and Transport Authority is the major independent government roads & transportation authority in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We worked on various engagements with them.

Unified Automated Fare Collection – RTA took the initiative of centralizing the payments and processing through a pervasive ‘Smart card’. With a virtual purse for the commuter along with a secure way of deduction and settlement through a clearing house. We worked as a business strategy partner to define the department’s business / operational strategy, wrote Policies, Procedures and Controls for Card Issuing, Clearing and settlement between departments, defined the RFP, evaluation criteria and conducted Technology vendor onboarding.

Consultancy Arm for investments department – RTA had established an investments department that aimed to start consultancy work for other Government and Transportation entities outside Dubai. We were involved in the supporting RTA to build technical and business cases to bid on other projects.

Corporate PMO – RTA aimed to build up a central PMO function within the Chairman’s office at the time when the Government was focusing on building core infrastructure across all its transportation agencies – Rail, Roads, Bus, Marine and Taxis. We had been engaged to create and manage the PMO to devise the Corporate PMO strategy, IT governance structure, resources, reporting mechanisms, operations manual, Change Management across key departments and executed the operations of PMO for almost a year.

Omni Channel experience and new revenue opportunities – The Licensing Department of the Authority aimed to improve its service delivery to the customers and introduce a number of channels based on the customer segmentation. We were engaged in the preparation of the technical and financial business case for introducing new channels. We also devised the implementation plan for these new channels, and also developed new revenue generating opportunities and their business cases.

Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi

Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways is the second flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates. Its head office is in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, near to Abu Dhabi International Airport. Etihad commenced operations in November 2003.

It is the second largest airline in the UAE after Emirates. We worked on Etihad and partner airlines (Jet Airways, Air Seychelles and Air Serbia) covering overall Program management encompassing transition to outsource partner and then running the transformation initiatives for IT Infrastructure and Applications. We also managed the entire project transformation portfolio of more than 50 projects for the Group.

The Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi

CCAD – The Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is a multi-specialty hospital located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The 364 bed luxury hospital, part of Cleveland Clinic Foundation, USA, has been open to the public since May 2015.

We were engaged in the Hospital Launch Program supporting advanced health management. The aim of this program was to establish a state of the art, technology enabled hospital for the emirate of Abu Dhabi. We worked as the Delivery Program Lead for this project. The program had more than 15 projects and steady state IT operations. We also deployed the entire IT infrastructure including Core IT applications implementation, hosting, Hardware and Network deployment, IT security, End user Deployment, Internet and Intranet Portal deployment. It covered 4 physical sites for implementation and deployment of technologies

STC – Saudi Telecom Company

STC – Saudi Telecom Company, Saudi Telecom Company, is a Saudi Arabia-based Digital Company that offers telecommunications services, landline, mobile, Internet services, enterprise digital solutions, entertainment, fintech, and computer networks.

We were engaged in the Implementation and management of Service Operations Centre to ensure better Service Quality / Customer Experience Management Program for STC.

Al Inma Bank, KSA

Inma Bank – Al Inma Bank is a Saudi joint stock company formed in accordance with Royal Decree No. M/15 dated 28 March 2006 and Ministerial Resolution No. 42 dated 27 March 2007.

We designed the processes and procedures to make a fully automated state of art bank through complete Systems integration. We were engaged in the retail, corporate and treasury Business to develop processes and procedures, and Job roles for Day 1 opening of the bank. We were also engaged in the deployment and testing of the T24 Core Banking System.

BAHL – Bank Al Habib Limited

BAHL – Bank Al Habib Limited is a commercial bank owned by the Habib family. It is based in South Asia with branch network of more than 850 branches. Bank Al Habib has wholesale branches in Bahrain, Seychelles and Malaysia and offices in UAE, Istanbul, Beijing, and Kenya.

We were engaged in CEO advisory and support to deliver all new strategic initiatives for Information Technology and Digital divisions. These included deployment of new digital banking platform, new core banking, management of the existing inhouse core banking, big data / AI strategy and platform, middleware integration platform and on premise / cloud Infrastructure solutions. We had created the new digital ecosystem leveraging on existing infrastructure and built new partners including fintechs, like Telcos, cloud solution providers and 3rd party solutions and service providers. We had developed the team of the future focusing on upcoming technologies covering areas big data and AI, RPA, Open banking architecture following micro services architecture and cloud enablement.

Government of Oman, Ministry of Finance

GOO – Government of Oman, Ministry of Finance is responsible to manage the financial affairs of the Government of Oman.

We were engaged in the Independent Quality Assurance of the reforms program covering various initiatives of Budget Preparation, Execution and Monitoring. These included review of processes, procedures, functional and technological requirements for the envisaged technology driven transformation for the Ministry of Finance.

Government of Myanmar, The Ministry of Planning and Finance

GOO – Government of Oman, Ministry of Finance is responsible to manage the financial affairs of the Government of Oman.

We were engaged in the Independent Quality Assurance of the reforms program covering various initiatives of Budget Preparation, Execution and Monitoring. These included review of processes, procedures, functional and technological requirements for the envisaged technology driven transformation for the Ministry of Finance.

Government of Ajman, The Department of Financial Affairs

GOA – Government of Ajman, The Department of Financial Affairs of the Government of Ajman was established by Amiri Decree No. (8) 2002, and In 2010 it was reorganized to be the Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs under the Emiri Decree No. (4) of 2010 and reorganized to be the Department of Finance by Amiri Decree No. (15) of 2012 , the Department plays a key role in providing outstanding financial services that contribute to the sustainable development of Ajman and enhance the competitiveness of the country. We were engaged in the preparation of Functional and technology requirements for the Ministry covering the Budgetary and Accounting policies and procedures. We also drove the preparation of a Tender with the Government for implementation of a Government Financial Management System.

Etisalat Group

Etisalat Group – Emirates Telecommunication Group Company PJSC, branded trade name Etisalat, is a multinational Emirati based telecommunications services provider, currently operating in 15 countries across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

We were engaged into a number of engagements with the group companies in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. These included the following:

  • Deployment of Oracle Financials for UAE
  • Service Costing study as per guidelines from the Telecom regulator for UAE
  • Preparation of Accounting policies and procedures in UAE
  • Service Quality Management for Saudi Arabia

Government of Pakistan

Controller General of Accounts – Government of Pakistan, It is the premier accounting office of the Government of Pakistan and has been entrusted with task of producing timely and accurate financial statements of the federation.

We were engaged in the deployment of the Government Financial Management Information System covering the New Accounting Model and SAP R/3 implementation. The entire project covered the National and Sub-national governments (provinces and city governments) and included the Finance Divisions and Accounting functions of these Governments.

Ministry of Finance – Government of Ethiopia

Ministry of Finance – Government of Ethiopia, The Ministry started the fiscal reforms and IFMIS implementation in early 2000s. We were engaged in PFM review exercise for reformed processes, assessment of the functional design, testing plans and rollout. Supervised the capacity building function for the program covering key country locations.

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam had been working on IFMIS since 2001. IFMIS development and implementation had been funded by the World Bank, administered directly by the Vietnamese Government. We conducted subsequent review of earlier reforms implemented. Audit of IFMIS system post implementation covering the system compliance and integrity. Reviewed and Identified gaps with modern International Public Sector Accounting standards.
